Community Achievement Awards
Recognizing members who have given back through voluntary service and contribution to Gujarati culture in the Golden Triangle.
About the Awards
The Gujarati Cultural Association of the Golden Triangle (GCA) periodically presents awards to adults (25 years and older) and youth (between 16 and 24 years) who are members of GCA, in recognition of their voluntary service to the community and their involvement within the Gujarati community in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph.
A sub-committee from the GCA reviews all nominations and selects recipients based on the information provided. Nominees should be of Gujarati heritage. Awards are typically announced at the annual GCA Diwali event and, when possible, presented in person.
Nominations for the next cycle will be announced here. For questions about the awards program, please contact gcacommunityaward@gmail.com.
